So today was supposed to be the day that Fox impressed us with the brand new X-Men: First Class trailer. Due at 3 PM EST, this was their chance to get fans back on their side amidst a summer of heavy competition.
It's close to 5, and the trailer still isn't up. Now, I'm not terribly concerned. I was never dying to see this trailer, but there are plenty of fans who are. This is a project already plagued with rumors of troubled production, and not being able to produce a simple trailer when promised doesn't exactly inspire confidence. Realistically, there is probably some kind of simple tech problem, but the only thing fans know is that the trailer was due at 3 and they have yet to see it. I don't want to sound overly pessimistic, but the entire thing feels messy and unorganized. Still, if the footage is good, all will be forgiven.
